The first time my mother took me to the country was also the first time I saw an Angel. His wings seemed to fill the whole trolley car, his cobalt essence spilling out of each of his countless eyes. His leonine head was anointed with liquid golden light, cosmic.

- "A Couple Blocks From Eden," by Brooksie C. Fontaine

An Eldritch Angel keeps watch over a trolley car.

His countless eyes were inspired by Biblical descriptions of Ophanim, also called thrones or wheels. Though he clearly isn't a flaming chariot for God, I like to think that all choirs of angels have just as many eyes.
